Dynamic Façade Lighting

  1. Design, Manufacturer, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of RGB Type LED light fittings at different Place of Nalanda University, Nalanda& Audrey House, Ranchi
  2. Maintenance – Monitoring everyday

Scope of  work:Developing a dynamic façade lighting system involves several stages and tasks, from initial planning and design to installation, programming, and ongoing maintenance. Here's a comprehensive scope of work for implementing dynamic façade lighting:

  1. Concept Development and Design:
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, and stakeholders to develop a concept for the dynamic façade lighting that aligns with the building's aesthetic and functional objectives.
  • Conducting lighting design studies to explore different lighting techniques, effects, and configurations.
  • Creating visualizations and renderings to communicate the proposed lighting concept to stakeholders.
  1. Technical Feasibility Study:
  • Assessing the technical feasibility of implementing the proposed dynamic façade lighting system, considering factors such as building structure, electrical infrastructure, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzing the compatibility of lighting fixtures, control systems, and power supply with the building's architecture and specifications.
  1. System Design and Engineering:
  • Designing the dynamic façade lighting system, including selecting appropriate lighting fixtures, control systems, wiring, and mounting methods.
  • Conducting photometric calculations to ensure uniform illumination and desired lighting effects.
  • Designing the control interface and programming logic to enable dynamic lighting sequences, color changes, and effects.
  1. Procurement and Logistics:
  • Procuring lighting fixtures, control systems, wiring, connectors, and other necessary equipment and materials.
  • Identifying and selecting suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Managing logistics, transportation, and customs clearance for equipment delivery to the project site.
  1. Installation and Construction:
  • Preparing the building façade for installation, including cleaning, surface preparation, and installation of mounting hardware.
  • Installing lighting fixtures, control devices, wiring, and connectors according to the approved design.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards throughout the installation process.
  1. Programming and Testing:
  • Programming the control system to enable dynamic lighting sequences, color changes, and effects based on predetermined scenarios or user inputs.
  • Testing the functionality and performance of the dynamic façade lighting system under different lighting conditions and operating scenarios.
  • Conducting onsite adjustments and fine-tuning to optimize lighting effects and ensure smooth operation.
  1. Commissioning and Integration:
  • Commissioning the dynamic façade lighting system and verifying its integration with building management systems, automation systems, and external sensors or triggers.
  • Conducting system integration tests to ensure seamless operation and communication between lighting fixtures, control systems, and other building systems.
  1. Operations and Maintenance (O&M):
  • Developing an operations and maintenance plan to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the dynamic façade lighting system.
  • Conducting regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of lighting fixtures, control systems, and wiring.
  • Performing software updates, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed to address any issues or faults.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance measures to maximize system lifespan and performance.
  1. Training and Documentation:
  • Providing training to building operators, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the dynamic façade lighting system.
  • Documenting system specifications, design drawings, programming logic, maintenance procedures, and warranties for future reference.
  1. Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and safety standards related to electrical installations and outdoor lighting.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of permits, contracts, designs, approvals, inspections, and maintenance records.
